Plan your Pride weekend!
Whether it’s investing in radical joy, supporting queer businesses, donating to your favorite LGBTQIA2S+–led org, or simply showing up as your full self, we hope you’re finding ways to celebrate Pride that feel real and meaningful to you. This year’s theme is “LOUDER,” and we’re calling on all of YOU to bring that energy wherever you go. Be loud in your joy, in your resistance, in your love, and in your pride. Show up fully and make some noise while you’re at it.To help you do just that, we’ve put together a guide to plan your Seattle Pride weekend. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Expect A LOT of traffic this weekend! With countless events happening throughout Seattle and beyond, the roads will be quite congested. Here are some tips on how to get around.

TRANSPORTATION

  • Public Transportation is your best friend! Westlake Light Rail station will drop you off in the heart of the parade.
  • Carpool! Driving is often the only option but we suggest bringing all your friends in one car as parking will be very limited and to be honest, quite expensive!
  • Hop on a Lime bike or scooter and avoid traffic all together! Practice safe riding and wear a helmet! Use code: SEAPRIDE25 for $5 off your first ride!

As the Editorial Director/Co-Owner, Michael Strangeways writes, edits and does about a million other jobs for Seattle Gay Scene, Puget Sound's most visited LGBTQ news, arts and entertainment website now celebrating its 14th year as a media outlet. A semi-proud Midwesterner by birth, he's lived in Seattle since 2000. He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
