Important elections this year mean we have to make important decisions on who to vote for in Seattle local elections…we have Mayor, City Attorney and City Council seats up for election in 2025 and fortunately The Washington Bus Education Fund and The Stranger have teamed up to produce…CANDIDATE SURVIVOR: THE TABLE TOP CAMPAIGN, a free event happening on Thursday, July 24th at Neumos on Capitol Hill.
Various candidates will apparently undergo a variety of tests to see who is fit for public office….FUN! And, potentially very embarassing! It’s hosted by Seattle Drag Legend Aleksa Manila and like I said it’s FREE and an 18+ event but you need to register for a free ticket at https://www.strangertickets.com/events/169537391/candidate-survivor

This year, The Washington Bus Education Fund and The Stranger summon you to Candidate Survivor: The Tabletop Campaign—a mythical-meets-municipal showdown where brave candidates will face a gauntlet of trials for your goblin-viewing pleasure. From charisma-based talent checks to lip sync battles and chaotic policy encounters, everything unfolds under the watchful eye of your Dungeon Mistress for the evening: Seattle drag royalty, Aleksa Manila!
Your voice—and your vote—decides who earns inspiration… and who gets banished.
