“It’s a very social sport where you can sit around and drink and smoke while engaging in inane conversation.”
Fall is that time of year I get a hankering for some bowling. For three years now and had a blast with friends every Sunday in the fall. It really is very grounding to meet with good friends every Sunday night take a break from the week and unwind with bowling. We make up a fun group of people, stock the juke box with music, order bad food, even bring our own snacks and get down to some really great bowling.
This year we decided to do it a different way. Since there is already a Gay Bowling league over in West Seattle we thought we would make our own over here. In our case, not just be a league for the GLBTQ crowd but everyone with a glittering personality. People that just want to bowl for fun! What is the difference between us and other bowling leagues? Well we are on Sunday nights at Imperial Lanes. The Bowling alley is centrally located and easy to get to. It’s a little rough around the edges but everything works and there is always parking.
The Specifics;
We run a short season only 16 weeks every Sunday except for Holidays.
How much? $10.00 a week which include your league discount token, two games of bowling with practice time, weekly coupons and free shoes rental! We are also going to be gathering money to donate to a local glittering charity. So we are currently looking for people and or teams of four to sign up for this fun event. If you are interested please send an email to benjimen1@hotmail.com or paul@pauldmckee.com to let us know. We would love to have you!
