Ruh Ro! Chaz and Jen call it quits!

December 19, 2011• bySeattle Gay Scene

TMZ is reporting that Chaz Bono and fiancée Jennifer Elia have called off their engagement. If you remember, we did a post last month about Chaz proposing to Jen on top of Seattle’s Space Needle, which was filmed for the documentary “Being Chaz”. It’s been a roller coaster year for Bono, the transgender son of Cher and Sonny Bono, with two documentaries, a media tour, and a controversial appearance on “Dancing With The Stars”.

As for their broken engagement, that is sad, but we don’t really think public proposals in front of cameras on top of windy monuments are really a very good idea….it’s so awkward…what was she going to say? No? In front of cameras? Not likely.

Thanks to Cass for the tip!
