QLaw Foundation presents: The Continuing Fight for LGBTQ Equality

With the Supreme Court’s recent legislative decision upholding same-sex marriage in all 50 states, LGBTQ equality is at the forefront of social and political decisions. Despite this landmark decision, discrimination still exists in workplaces, health care, education, and other areas. This community meeting will discuss the Supreme Court’s ruling, what it says about the current state of LGBTQ equality, and examine key areas where there’s still work to be done. Attorneys from Lambda Legal, the ACLU of Washington, Legal Voice, and QLaw Foundation will lead the discussion.
