ABOUT TIME AFTER TIME CAPSULE
Multitalented artist Sebastian Masuda plans to undertake an ambitious participatory project, Time After Time Capsule, in multiple cities around the world in the next five years in an effort to represent cultural diversity and how “the unity of everyone’s small universe can change the view of the world.”
This project will culminate in 2020, the year of the Tokyo Olympics, at which time all the time capsules filled with personal objects in each city will be joined together in Tokyo and installed as a sculptural invention displayed in a public space. All capsules will be sent back to their original cities in 2035 to uncover the memorial items inside. He invites guests to add a fun personal object, postcard, kawaii craft, or message of your hopes and dreams for the future.
