Dir. John Hughes (1984, PG, 93 min.)
Celebrate EMP’s 16th birthday at Campout Cinema with for John Hughes’ classic coming-of-age comedy Sixteen Candles (1984).
Angst-ridding Samantha Baker faces her sixteenth birthday on the eve of her sister’s wedding. She suffers every embarrassment imaginable, including: having a crush on the most popular boy in school (who she’s not sure even knows she’s alive) while the geekiest boy in school has a crush on her—and did she mention her family forgot her birthday?
Before the film and during intermission enjoy a Sixteen Candles-inspired photo op, trivia, food specials, and more!
Tickets include admission to Indie Game Revolution, where you can tap into your inner kid again through 20 game demo stations.
