The Gay Uncle Time – The Final Show
January 4, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The time has come.
Seattle’s Monthly Celebration of Pop, Camp, Gay, Underground and Trash Culture of the 60’s & 70’s and BEYOND! is ending on January 4th, 2017.
To say good-bye and thank you, I’ll be doing a special edition of the show. This will be a version of “The Gay Uncle Explains It All To You”, a show that will be in both the Tucson and Seattle Fringe Festivals in 2017, and will hopefully visit other cities and festivals as well.
If you saw this show at the Pocket Theater in 2016, it is being revamped and will continue to be – a work in progress. The show is part memoir, part LGBTQ history lesson, part celebration of pop culture and a thank you to all of the people, places and things that inspired me, taught me and allowed me to have a fabulous authentic but heavily imaginative life.
Special Opening Set by the Fabulous Michael Cagle
This show will be a pay what you can show. Suggested donation $10 (to help raise funds for taking it on the road). No one turned away for lack of funds. Heck – No one turned away for donating $100 bucks either. Pay what you can.
