We have an amazing SPECIAL EDITION of Collide-O-Scope cooked up for this night! We will have our usual 1hour+ of wonderous prehow video entertainment and then start the first half of the show with a fun and exciting new Collide-O-Scope program — then we turn the second half of the show over for a showing of Clyde Peterson’s film TORREY PINES with a LIVE orchestra!

Torrey Pines is a stop-motion animated feature film by director Clyde Petersen. Based on a true story, the film is a queer punk coming-of-age tale, taking place in Southern California in the early 1990s.

Raised by a schizophrenic single mother, Petersen’s life story unfolds in a series of baffling and hallucinated events. The film has a soundtrack produced by Chris walla, while the live theatrical version has a score performed by the band Your Heart Breaks and special guests, include Kimya dawson, Lori Goldston, The Beacomettes (an amazing choir from Seattle) Corey J Brewer, Chris Looney and Art Petersen.

This screening at Collide-O-Scope will include the live score with the Beaconettes Choir!!! We will also have FREE SNACKS! PRIZE DRAWINGS! and a night that you will never forget!
