Many of us are sick. Many of us are struggling to pay the medical bills. Let’s get together and make art about it!
Several Pacific Northwest artists who are sick/disabled womxn + queers will be performing for an event called “Sick Womxn & Queers: Swooning into Fall II.”

When: Saturday September 23rd 7-10pm at New Freeway Hall, 5018 Rainier Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98118

*This event is part of a series of events seeking to raise funds and awareness of public health crises that are disproportionately affecting already vulnerable populations, and the issues with the current healthcare system letting people fall through the cracks. It is providing space for artists who are struggling to afford medical treatment, to share their stories and connect with one another and allies.
The first event of the series happened in July at Fremont Abbey Arts.
