The next mayor of Seattle will either be Jenny Durkan or Cary Moon.

The Greater Seattle Business Association aka the GSBA is presenting a “Face to Face” forum this Friday, September 22, 2017 where members of Seattle’s LGBTQ community can ask the Big Questions for this year’s 2017 Seattle municipal election candidates including Cary Moon and Jenny Durkan both running for Seattle Mayor. The top two candidates on the ballot for the 2 seats up for election on the Seattle City Council and Port of Seattle Commission are also scheduled to attend the EARLY morning forum….set your alarm clocks ’cause it’s an 8 am event!

A panel of GSBA members representing the breadth of our organization will be posing questions to candidates for some of the most important races in our region, including Mayor, Seattle City Council, and Port Commission.

Hear where our future leaders stand on issues of importance to the LGBT community, small business, and equitable economic development for all communities.

What is their vision for supporting the LGBT community, which makes up an estimated 14% of Seattle’s population?

How will they bring equity to the parts of our community who need it most?
