East German rocker, Hedwig, travels across America with her band on a tour of musical reflection and self-discovery in the Campout Cinema screening of Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001).

Transgender rocker Hedwig has lived through a lot. Even through escaping Eastern Germany, a botched sex change operation, and being left by her love Tommy, she’s never lost her spirit or her musical ability. Now Hedwig and her band are on the road, following Tommy and bringing the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll to every seafood restaurant they play. Can Hedwig discover herself while sharing her story with the crowd?
