Buskers Ball – A new original work!
https://buskersball.bpt.me/
WhatNot Theatrics is opening their inaugural show with an original vaudeville production; Buskers Ball. Buskers Ball is about a group on the outskirts of society who have built an elaborate network of buskers trying to make a buck in an ever changing town. When they find themselves in need of a few recruits they decide to hold a party and you’re invited.
But when a new recruit arrives to reveal that a murderer is on the lose things start to fall apart, Lilou and Eloise break up, Joanna’s former lover Tessie returns, and Anora sings about the dangers of being a woman alone on the street. Buskers Ball features an all female cast and explores the complexities of their relationship to each other and to society around them.
Produced by WhatNot Theatrics and powered by Shunpike a brand new production company that is women-run and operated. Their mission statement is to focus on original new works that incorporate elements of devising and stimulating artists to make new work.
Buskers Ball runs for 1 weekend only, April 6, 7, 8 at the Jewelbox Theater at the Rendezvous. Tickets are on sale now through brownpapertickets http://buskersball.bpt.me/
