You’ve been cordially invited to ROUGH DRAFT: a dance party musically laced with house, tech house, nu-disco, and a dash of EDM. Come join us in dancing away the troubles of the day in a deep, dark, basement in Pioneer Square. It’s gonna be a hot one!

What is ROUGH DRAFT? As the name of the event hints at, ROUGH DRAFT is an experiment led by Alfonso Tan. As an aspiring DJ and lover of dance music, Alfonso aims to provide an alternative to the sound commonly played at larger clubs, especially those attended by the LGBTQ community. The idea: round up a fun crowd and take over a unique space for a night of bangin’ house music and affiliated styles. With the help of DJ & Producer Neon Puma (Mark Linington) and DJ Stefan Schell, the dance floor will be flooded with positive vibes all night long. It’ll be a night of ‘firsts’ for the people involved (hence the name), so come show off those dance moves if you’re down for the experiment.

Who can attend ROUGH DRAFT? Anyone! …as long as they are over 21 and believe in safe dance spaces for people of all races, religions, genders, and sexual orientations. Disclaimer: due to the networks of the DJ’s involved, it should be noted that the crowd may lean towards gay men. If dancing next to shirtless, sexy guys bothers you, then you may want to stay home. If not, then come through!
