In Pen: Developmental Labs provides artists a unique opportunity to expand and more fully realize their work before their show receives a full production. Shows are still in the process of being created and design elements are intentionally kept simple. In order to both artistically and financially manage this experimental new program, The Scratch has partnered with director and producer Eddie DeHais. The Scratch is excited to continue our work with Eddie as they direct and help develop two new solo shows – Bread Crumbs by Jasmine Joshua, a powerful piece that was featured in the inaugural Seattle Workshop Series, and Triple Threat by Nicholas Bernard, a provocative piece new to The Scratch.
