Performers and Artists
These can’t-miss performances will highlight the wealth of diversity within the LGBTQIA+ community including those with disabilities and BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Color) voices and artists. Co-curated with Taking B(l)ack Pride, the stage performances will weave diversity, accessibility, and inclusion into the fabric of the event.
Local favorites, burlesque performer Goddess Briq House and drag king Ceasar Hart will take to the stage as hosts for the day’s festivities and the stage will be headlined by the popular Seattle band, Fly Moon Royalty composed of vocalist Adra Boo and DJ Mike Illvester! You can expect a hilarious sparkly show filled with fun surprises from the afternoon ‘welcome’ to the evening’s ‘good night.’
Performance Schedule
Noon to 1 p.m.
KWEEN KAYSH – Queer Black femme DJ and Seattle local, KWEEN KAYSH loves taking the crowd on an unforgettable melodic journey. She pulls from a diverse set of genres: hip-hop/R&B, soul/funk, house/techno, afro beats and translates them into an extraordinary and unique set.
Drag Queen Storytime with Cookie Couture – Drag gal-about-town Cookie Couture is bringing the fun for kids and the young-at-heart for Drag Queen Storytime featuring stories with themes about accepting and celebrating our differences. This very special story time will capture the imagination and gender fluidity of childhood and give kids (and grown-ups) a glamorous queer role model who proves that dress-up is real and that we can – and should – all be ourselves.
Jeannie Rak – Asian-American and queer immigrant musical artist with a big, beautiful voice, Jeannie Rak’s music reflects the pain of coming out, the joys of falling in love, and the hoops she’s leapt through to live in America.
1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
LÜChi – This dramatic drag duo is a twinning, space-pop-punk rockstar fantasy come to life in a can’t-miss performance!
2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Carly Ann Calbero – This self-taught multi-instrumentalist is making music you can feel. Taught by the likes of Brandi Carlile, Tracy Chapman, and Tegan and Sara, this Washington native has a voice like a freight train that narrates personal stories, told over folk guitars with touches of the jazz and rock classics that raised her.
3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Taylar Elizza Beth – Taylar Elizza Beth’s textured, molten voice melts into your ears as the dark matter that keeps the planets from falling in on themselves siphons her melodic embers like a trail of notations. This popular Seattle rapper/singer/songwriter is a shooting star crossing the universal expanse.
4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Morgan Britt – This self-taught singer, songwriter, and vocal producer is just overall that girl – talking sh*t in her music. Her soulful voice will make all your 90’s R&B dreams come true.
Hot Pink Shade – Hot Pink Shade will be bringing energy, dance, braids, and a lot of body to the stage with their drag performance! With this drag artist you’ll quickly see why Shade is a dish best served…Hot Pink!
5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Dark Smith – If you haven’t seen Dark Smith live, you won’t want to miss this musical performance! Smith’s bleak sonic textures with intense precision tell the stories of fear and paranoia while trans, gay, a person of color, and/or as a woman in this world. This isn’t your typical whitewashed punk music.
6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Fly Moon Royalty – This year’s headliner is none other than the popular Seattle band, Fly Moon Royalty. Their everlasting music bleeding with the heart and soul of blues and R&B, combined with the contemporary aesthetics of modern-day electronica and hip-hop, vocalist Adra Boo and producer Mike Illvester are a perfectly fitting contradiction. When these two come together with their smooth, solid, textured, and lively production and vocal prowess, they put that ‘good good’ into the atmosphere.
