2016 LAVENDER GRADUATION

The Who, What, When, Where, Why & How:
Who: Lavender Graduation is open to any student eligible, at any level (undergraduate or graduate/professional) for graduation in the 2015-2016 (including fall 2016) academic year. Guests do not have to be graduating or be of a certain sexual or gender orientation/identity/expression to participate or attend this year-end celebration. Everyone is welcome!!!
What: The best party on the UW Campus, of course.
When: TUESDAY, June 7, from 6-8:30 p.m. Graduates please arrive by NO LATER than 5:15 p.m.
Where: wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ – Intellectual House (4249 Whitman Court) on the University of Washington campus.
Why: The Q Center and QSC host Lavender Graduation as a time for the UW queer, trans, two-spirit, and allied communities to come together and celebrate our multiple identities, our accomplishments, and sheer AWESOMENESS.
How: IF YOU ARE GRADUATING, please register at http://tinyurl.com/uwlavgrad2016. Guests can RSVP via Facebook or Eventbrite. As for attire, participants and guests can wear whatever they want. If you want to dress up, or down, go for it. You want to be comfy, have at it. This is your night.

The front entrance is wheelchair accessible. All-genders restrooms will be available on the first floor.
The space is not kept scent-free but we ask that you do not wear scented/fragranced products (e.g. perfume, hair products) or essential oils in order to make the space accessible to those with chemical injury or multiple chemical sensitivity.

Please make parking arrangements at any one of the gatehouses upon entering campus or contact UW Commuter Services (http://www.washington.edu/facilities/transportation/commuterservices/parking). Campus parking during Commencement season costs $15. Padelford Parking Garage is one of the nearest parking lots. Additional accessible parking is available in N-22, the parking lot near the HUB’s north entrance. There is also potential street parking surrounding the campus, on 15th Ave and University Way.
