2017 Drag Competition!

The 2017 Queer Student Commission Drag Competition is here!
Our host this year is Aleksa Manila!!
We’ve moved to the Husky Union Building, and the event will take place in the HUB North Ballroom. We have a variety of drag styles, a mutliplicity of identities, and a plethora of FREE FOOD!!
Come and express your identities, and let’s show that the queers will not be silenced!
There will be gender neutral restrooms at the event and we ask that you do not wear heavy perfumes, colones or scented items.

-HUB North Ballroom is on the UW Campus on:

-The Central Plaza Parking Garage is the largest parking lot to the close to the HUB. Accessible parking is available in the lot located next to the HUB. Additional information can be found at –

There is also potential street parking surrounding the campus, on 15th Ave, University Way, and Brooklyn Ave.
-The HUB front entrance is wheelchair accessible and the HUB North Ballroom is located on the second floor, accessible via elevator.
-An all-genders restroom can be found on third floor of the HUB, and the main restrooms will be converted to all-gender.
-The HUB is not kept scent-free but we ask that you do not wear scented/fragranced products (e.g. perfume, hair products) or essential oils to/in the HUB in order to make the space accessible to those with chemical injury or multiple chemical sensitivity.
-We will have baking soda and scent free soap available if folks are asked to wash off scents.
