Asian Art Museum Housewarming: Free Reopening Weekend

Over 10,000 tickets to the Free Reopening Weekend on February 8 & 9 have sold out, but you can get tickets to the reimagined and reinstalled museum to visit anytime from February 12 onward! Admission is always suggested, meaning you can pay what you wish. And there are now four days a month where the Asian Art Museum will be free: the first and second Thursday of each month and the first Saturday of the month the museum is free to all. The first Friday of each month the museum is free for seniors, 65+.
During the reopening weekend, the museum will be free for two 12-hour days (9 am–9 pm) of programming reflecting the 12 themes of the collection galleries, “Boundless: Stories of Asian Art.”
Prior to the doors opening on Saturday February 8, please join us for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 8 am. No tickets are required for this event.
