After another sold out, Off-Broadway run, BenDeLaCreme is delighted to bring her brand new solo show, Cosmos, back to her beloved emerald city, October 22nd-24th.
For centuries our greatest minds have tried to unlock the mysteries of our universe and the life within it- but who holds the key to their secrets?
BenDeLaCreme sure doesn’t- and neither will you after spending an evening under the influence of “BenDeLaCreme’s Cosmos” – a dizzying deliberation on space, time, and the cocktails that accompany them best. Whether showing off her knowledge of black holes or inviting you to explore her inner space, BenDeLaCreme blends song, strip-tease, razor wit and high-camp hijinks to create a pseudo-scientific spectacular certain to delight and misinform!
For over a decade BenDeLaCreme has combined her background in the performing & visual arts with a love of spectacle and camp to create cabaret that is both hilarious and thoughtful, familiar and unexpected.
Best known as “Miss Congeniality” from season six of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” she has since been voted among the show’s “15 fan favorite queens of all time.”
Having toured her work extensively throughout the U.S., Europe and Australia, she continues to relish Seattle audiences with whom she has had an ongoing love affair since 2006.
In 2014 DeLaCreme was named among City Arts Magazine’s “Artists of the Year” along with her cohorts Lou Henry Hoover and Kitten LaRue, with whom she produces the beloved annual events Homo for the Holidays and Freedom Fantasia.
“She is 45 flavors of too many damn good things. Every show is a winner!
Every appearance a sparkling gem!” (The Stranger)
“She delivers a show that’s equal parts clubby fun and insightful art, no small feat.”
