A collaboration of Black Trans artists from Seattle to Chicago, this unique entourage of poets & musicians will share performances centered around Black Trans Spirit, Black Magick, and Black Ancestry. With this performance we seek to invoke a call to resistance against anything that attempts to diminish the reality that to be Black & Trans means to be of the Divine; means to be a survivor; means to be brilliant in your ability to manifest the world around you. In an hour and a half, the audience will be transported across time, space and the restrictions of white supremacy & cis-het genders. A pre-cursor to a book to be released in early 2018, this is just the beginning. To find out more about #BlackTransMagick and any future projects, check out http://www.awQwardtalent.com.
