BowieVision invites you to float in the most peculiar way through the Bowie Universe at Nectar Lounge as, for the first (and probably only) time, the band performs its entire repertoire of 34 classics, from “Absolute Beginners” to “Ziggy Stardust.” We’ll touch down in five decades, tracing Bowie’s strange changes from 1969’s “Space Oddity” to his 2016 swan song, “I Can’t Give Everything Away.”

Stopovers on this musical odyssey will include the early-Seventies glam era (“Ziggy Stardust,” “Diamond Dogs,” “The Jean Genie,” “All the Young Dudes,” etc.); the elegantly wasted funk of Bowie’s Thin White Duke phase, including “Fame,” “Young Americans,” and “Golden Years;” “Heroes,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Boys Keep Swinging,” and more proto-electronica from the Berlin trilogy; the MTV-era favorites “Let’s Dance,” “Modern Love,” “Blue Jean,” “Ashes to Ashes,” and “Scary Monsters;” and late-period gems such as “I’m Afraid of Americans,” “Slow Burn,” and “Slip Away.”

As if this weren’t enough reason for Bowiephiles to rejoice, KEXP’s DJ Atticus will co-pilot the starship through the farthest reaches of David Bowie’s recorded works with deep cuts and rarities from his massive Bowie collection.
