MUSIC: Whitney Mongé

Alternative soul artist, Whitney Mongé, was once known for being the “Best Busker in Seattle”. Her music has since transcended to a national level supporting acts, Ziggy Marley, Allen Stone, KT Tunstall, Patrick Sweany and Mayor Hawthorne. Catching the attention of the masses with her dynamic voice and heartfelt performances, Whitney’s music is often compared to Tracy Chapman and Alabama Shakes.

ARTISAN: M Creative J

Melissa is the hand embroidery artist behind MCreativeJ. Born and raised in Washington state, her mother instilled a love of crafting in her at an early age. After working for several years in the communications field, Melissa wanted to get back to making physical works of art, playing with colors, and creating texture. Melissa draws inspiration from the desert, plants, and pop culture to create inspired, whimsical, and modern hand embroidered pieces. She loves combining the handcraft of vintage embroidery with the modern take of bright colors, patterns, and unique designs.
