Contrasting emotive sound design with pulsing drums and basslines drifting towards darker sounds while never following trends, Sorrow creates some of the darkest bass driven music the scene has to offer. With releases under Joker’s Kapsize imprint in addition to OWSLA, Inspected, White Peach, Fent Plates and his homegrown label Shinigrim, he continues to push forward-thinking music to it’s outer limits while consistently re-inventing his sound with deft versatility.

ASA [SEATTLE DEBUT // Bristol // Kapsize, Owsla]
Hailing from Bristol and a close comrade of Koan Sound, Asa is becoming one of the UK’s most inspiring electronic artists in his own right. He is known for his use of lush textures, sound design and synthesis while always maintaining an almost Burial-esque level of emotional engagement. Asa has joined the royalty of cutting-edge electronic music by signing to the much-lauded Inspected Records. In direct contrast to Asa’s very personal and cinematic themes, he is also becoming recognized as one of the scene’s most progressive grime producers, frequently collaborating on wonky bass tunes withSorrow and crafting remixes for Joker and his Kapsize label mates.
