DEVELOPER
Developer is one of the few active DJ/Producers that emerged from the Los Angeles techno scene in the early 1990’s. After ending his residency as a DJ on radio station 88.7FM kspc back in 1995, Developer went to New York City to learn about the record distribution business and assisted in the launch of the first dedicated techno distribution company in Los Angeles ” Entity Music Distribution ” which worked with highly influential labels such as Axis Records, Reload Belgium, Plus 8 Canada as well as a large amount of techno label’s from Detroit, Chicago and Europe.
One of the company’s main focuses was to expose the western USA, Mexico and most of Central and South America with techno music from around the world. Over the last 2 decades Developer has played in various countries as well as taking part in laying a foundation in the LA techno culture by producing events and exposing various first time international talents through out the mid to late1990’s. Developer gained much of his acclaim and extensive performance history from his strong mixing and programming skills as well as the ability of playing 40 to 60 records per hour on 3 turntables with effect processor and sampler.

Over the last two decades Developer has played along side many elite techno talents from around the globe and took a part in laying a foundation in the LA techno culture by producing events and exposing various first time international talents through out the mid 1990s to 2008. Developer gained much of his acclaim and extensive performance history from his strong marathon sets and quick programming skills as well as the ability of playing 50 tracks per hour on 3 turntables with effect processor and sampler.
Since founding Modularz in 2008 Developer has been focusing on his label which now has seen its 28th release, making Modularz one of the most thought-after modern techno labels with a series of strong releases of his own music (Developer Archive Series) as well as from new and existing talents.

Kremwerk is currently not an ADA accessible space. Club entry is through a flight of 12 metal stairs, with two small steps leading into the main part of the club. We have 2 restrooms with a total of 3 stalls and 1 urinal, all gender neutral. If you would like access to single-stall restrooms, please don’t hesitate to ask our door & security to allow entry upstairs into Timbre Room, which has 2 single-stall gender-neutral restrooms.
