Travis Egedy, better known by his stage name Pictureplane, is an American electronic musician based in Brooklyn, New York. He first appeared in the music scene of Denver, Colorado, making a name for himself at the warehouse where he also lived, Rhinoceropolis. He has been credited for coining the term “witch house”.
Pictureplane released the studio album, Dark Rift, on Lovepump United Records in 2009.[9] Thee Physical was released on the label in 2011.[10] In 2015, he released Technomancer on Anticon.[11]A live Pictureplane performance in 2013 at Brooklyn’s now-defunct 285 Kent was filmed for inclusion in the 2015 independent movie Hunter&Game.[12]
