Kremwerk presents Heartthrob: a night of undulating sounds for freaks and geeks.
Tomu DJ:
One of electronic music’s fastest rising stars, Tomu DJ has an innate gift for constructing rhythms across genres, be it footwork, house, or techno. Her immaculate record “FEMINISTA” has received rave reviews from the likes of Pitchfork, Resident Advisor, and Bandcamp, painting a vulnerable painful portrait of healing with sparks of humor and hope. The future is looking mighty bright for this rising star, we hope you are as bewildered by her as we are.

Portland’s crown jewel Carly Barton has captured the hearts and minds of the northwest with their gorgeous compositions and off-the-wall dj mixes. Carly has recently caught well deserved attention for their truly unhinged entry for pipipi’s mix series: blending delicate ambient and death metal drumming solos, with Carly at the decks one can only expect the unexpected. We are super excited for them to close out the basement after a long hiatus, listeners: you’re in for a serious treat.

With an against-the-grain approach to djing, Dani seeks to build up and break down dancefloors with the flick of a fader and a twist of a knob. Expect psychedelic chuggers and cerebral rollers as they open the night’s festivities.

Kremwerk is currently not an ADA-accessible space. Club entry is through a flight of 12 metal stairs, with two small steps leading into the main part of the club. We have 2 restrooms with a total of 3 stalls and 1 urinal, all gender-neutral. If you would like access to single-stall restrooms, please don’t hesitate to ask our door & security to allow entry upstairs into Timbre Room, which has 2 single-stall gender-neutral restrooms.
