Homeless LGBTQ+ Youth Know Your Workers’ Rights Training

Seattle has stronger labor protections than most cities in the country. Do you know what they are and how they are enforced? If you are an LGBTQ+ homeless youth (age 29 & under) working in Seattle who wants to learn more about your workers’ rights and what to do if they are violated, this training is for you! It’s being led by LGBTQ+ homeless youth who have been trained on Seattle’s labor standards by LGBTQ Allyship. Each participant will receive a $30 stipend.

Please join us on Wednesday, April 20, 2:30-430pm at Peace for the Streets by Kids from the Streets in the Central District (1609 19th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122, bus routes 11, 12 & 84. free street parking). Light snacks and drinks will be provided. This space is wheelchair accessible. We ask that you refrain from wearing fragrances. Please indicate other accessibility needs on the registration form.
