Join us in recognizing International Awareness Day, where for the 3rd year VOCAL-WA will fill Westlake Park with balloons symbolizing those we lost this year to overdose.

We will also have information tables, a photo display, speakers, and Naloxone training and distribution (while supplies last). This year we will also have a “Remembrance Rock” painting station, where people to paint rocks to remember their loved ones. The painted rocks can then be taken home and placed in a garden, park, or other place the painter feels is meaningful to them or their loved one.

If you have photos, momentos, or items you would like to bring to symbolize someone lost to an overdose, feel free to bring them with you.

During the event, there will be a short program with speakers, followed by an open-mic for people to share and remember friends and family they have lost.

One life is too many lost.
