Intimate Impressionism Community Day

Don’t miss an amazing day of art making, music and magic in celebration of the new exhibition “Intimate Impressionism from the National Gallery of Art.”
First 500 attendees of Community Day get in free to the galleries. Tickets will be available at the First Avenue and University Street entrance on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 10 am.
Listen to live music, make art, go on tours, watch performances, and take workshops inspired by the exhibition.

Design your own impressionism inspired postcards with artist Emma Argiroff.
Create your own miniature masterpiece and add it to a collaborative wall with artist Janet Fagan.
Learn ballet basics with a drop-in dance workshop with Adriana Hernandez of the Pacific Northwest Ballet.
Live performance by Seattle-based ensemble Rouge featuring their classic French cabaret sound.
Sit, observe, and paint like the Impressionists with Gage Academy of Art’s pop-up drawing series—25 Jams.
Explore the artworks of the Impressionists with a family-friendly sketching tour of Intimate Impressionism .
