For November’s Phinneywood Art Walk, GSTS will be exhibiting paintings by Jeffrey Robert!

Jeffrey Robert, “The Gay Uncle”, is an upper-middle aged, great big bald bearded gay bear comedian, humorist, writer and artist in Seattle. He is also a husband, father, grandfather and Uncle to an every-growing biological and “logical” (thanks to Armistead Maupin for that adjective) family. He has produced and hosted several shows in Seattle, including The Gay Uncle Time – A Celebration of Pop, Camp, Gay, Underground and Pop Culture of the 60’s & 70’s and Beyond (which is on hiatus) and West Side Glory – A Somewhat Queer Variety Show (also on hiatus) and spends much of his time now performing in or plotting out adventures in Fringe Festivals across the country – rotating three shows; “The Gay Uncle Explains It All To You”, “The Gay Uncle’s Journey Through The Valley of the Dolls”, and “SUPERCHUB – A Great Big Gay Story”.

He loves Soul Music, the color orange, beards, biceps, trees, NPR, strong coffee, trashy TV, Italian films, rain and kindness. He and his husband are in love with their little dog Diego, two cats Kerouac and Raindrops and hen house full of chickens. Jeffrey believes we are all better people than our Facebook comments would lead one to believe.
