On Tuesday, December 20th, LGBTQ Allyship will be hosting a training for Direct Service providers on Seattle’s Labor Standards. The training will be held at the Douglass Truth Library located at 2300 E Yesler Way, Seattle, WA 98122 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

This 2 hour presentation will include discussions on the current Seattle labor standards, what labor violations look like, and how the LGBTQ community is impacted. LGBTQ Allyship recognizes the expertise and experience that already exists within our communities and looks to the direct service organizations that already serve marginalized communities to really assist with connecting workers to resources that can assist them if they face labor violations at work.

Our objective is to train as many direct service providers as possible so workers more easily have access to information and support about their rights at work.
