Robert Wood, MD is Former Director of the HIV/AIDS Control Program, Public Health – Seattle & King County (PHSKC) and a Clinical Professor with the University of Washington Department of Medicine. He will discuss the early days of the AIDS epidemic in Seattle, the development of a new HIV/AIDS Program within PHSKC, interesting stories from local HIV control, and the social impact of this disease on our larger society.
