Doors will be open during intermission if you want to come later to see a specific show.

3 brand new plays by 3 playwrights of color! Come celebrate minority directors, writers, designers, and actors coming together to create one big community celebration of theatre. Hitchhiker, by Kendall Uyeji, directed by Kiefer Harrionton, is about an asian woman who decides to pick up a hitchhiker, and another, and another, and then things get crazy as her night turns into an event that changes her life. Hypotheticals, by Teague Parker, directed by Aviona Brown, is about two African American men who talk about race and the school system as they both work in a Montessori Preschool, one trying to leave the place, the other, trying to change it. And The Spokesman, by José Amador, directed by Marisol Soledad, is about the mayor of Chumpville, as he tries to get a Latino to be their Spokesperson for the police, and things start to go awry as he does. This event is about celebrating each other and bringing different communities together to share in each other’s stories and experiences.
