Are you part of the LGBTQ community, work in the restaurant/bar, retail, personal care, home care, daycare, hospitality or nonprofit industries and want to become a trainer to other workers on Seattle’s labor laws? We want YOU!

Allyship is looking for volunteer trainers to lead workshops for LGBTQ working people to better understand their workers’ rights with the help of funding from the Office of Labor Standards. Trainers will complete two Train-the-Trainer workshops and one focus group during January and February 2016. The date/time/location for the first training has not been confirmed yet; we will update this event as soon as possible with final details. All trainings are FREE!

We are accepting only 15 amazing justice-seeking queer and trans people to engage in our train-the-trainer workshops, so apply today! Applications are due by 5pm, Friday, January 22.
