Loosely Based returns in 2019 with Rough Draft: Meltdown. After a winter that has been frigid AF, it’s time to melt the ice off in the best way possible: getting sweaty while dancing to the finest in house and tech house. DJ’s Alfonso Tan and Pure Noise (Jeff Dority) will melt you into liquid.

It might be a new year, but the formula hasn’t changed: provide an outlet for a sound that isn’t offered at the larger, local, queer-geared clubs. The music is the focus, and Alfonso Tan and Pure Noise are dedicated to spreading it’s magic. To help keep things fresh, this new location (Club Contour) with a sick layout has been added to the rotation that Rough Draft takes through the city.

As a frequent selector for the infamous DILF, Bearracuda, and Meat Rack parties in LA, San Diego, Chicago, Atlanta, and beyond, Pure Noise is no stranger to getting a crowd to dance and feel sexy. Pure Noise puts an emphasis on paying close attention to his audience, and with the ability to play a wide range of dance music, he keeps the crowd engaged and energized. This will be his first time playing in Seattle since his relocation to Los Angeles, so get ready to welcome him back.

As the main dude behind Loosely Based and Rough Draft, Alfonso finds typing in 3rd person about himself to be silly, yet oddly necessary. If you’ve attended anything that Alfonso has played at in the last year, you’ll know that he loves tunes that groove, bounce, and slap. His library will be stacked with hot tracks, so be prepared to go off.

Rough Draft: Meltdown is an event for everyone that is 21+ and believes in safe dance spaces for people of all races, religions, genders, and sexual orientations. The crowd is queer-centered, so if #twomenkissing bothers you, then this is not the party for you. Additionally, the common rules of consent are in effect, so adhere to them or deal with the consequences. Otherwise, come through and cut loose!
