Say My Name – Name and Gender Marker Change Clinic

Gender Justice League, Q-Law Legal Foundation, Teller & Associates, Agnes Underground, The Cloud Room, U.T.O.P.I.A. & King County Bar Association will be holding a name and gender marker change legal clinic.

This clinic will be a “one-stop shop” including volunteer attorneys who can help you fill out and understand forms, medical providers who can consult to write same-day letters at no cost for gender marker changes, and for folks who meet income guidelines to receive financial assistance to file your name or gender marker changes.
This event is coming together quickly – PLEASE CHECK THIS EVENT FREQUENTLY as we work out details & what paperwork you will need to bring with you.
We will be assisting with:
Name Changes in King County
Driver’s License Name & Gender Marker changes
Social Security Name and Gender Marker Changes
Birth Certificate
Passport Name and Gender Marker Changes
Financial Assistance to file this paperwork
We will be taking on-site passport photos – so please come dressed and ready to take a passport photo if you would like to have a free one taken on site.

Accessibility Information:
Our space is wheelchair accessible.
We will be providing Spanish language interpretation.
We will be providing ASL interpretation (please state your request in email to elayne@genderjusticeleague.org)
We ask participants to refrain from using chemical fragrances.
We anticipate that this space will be extremely busy and with many people, we will work hard to find a chill out space – though this may not be available. If you need one-on-one assistance in a quiet setting for accessibility reasons, please reach out to danni@genderjusticeleague.org
