Let’s head to Camp Arawak for some summer fun; there’s a beautiful forest, a fantastic lake, and a deadly murderer!

Sleepaway Camp is embraced as one of the genre’s more over-the-top entries, earning a special place among 80’s slashers. A campy film in more ways than one, we’ll show the cult classic on the big screen. Then, the Shriek crew will discuss LGBTQ and feminist themes found within.

As an added bonus, we’re donating half of the night’s door to a local homeless youth program Sanctuary Art Center. SAC provides homeless and street-involved youth a safe place to create and experience art. Learn more about them at sanctuaryartcenter.org.
