Join me for an evening of music and film. We are showing the 2 hour version of the 1927 masterpiece by Fritz Lang, Metropolis.

In a futuristic city sharply divided between the working class and the city planners, the son of the city’s mastermind falls in love with a working class prophet who predicts the coming of a savior to mediate their differences (much like modern real life).

The concept is to give this classic sci-fi film a soundtrack remix performed live on turntables. The music will range from 1930’s swing, to modern day hip hop, and electronic music. And of course everything in between.

Come see for yourself the magic of Metropolis and the intricately planned new soundtrack. And find out why the Seattle International Film Festival calls NicFit’s work “mesmerizing”.
