SJFF 2021 Closing Night Celebration: Black Lives Matter and the Art of Activism (ONLINE EVENT)
October 16, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
The Black Lives Matter movement has sparked a national reckoning over institutional and police violence, and while some things have changed, too much has remained the same. We will close out ACTIVATE | REFUGE, the 2021 Social Justice Film Festival, with a discussion of the Black Lives Matter movement and the role of filmmaking as catalyst and fuel for change.
This free panel discussion accompanies the films in the BLACK LIVES MATTER AND THE ART OF ACTIVISM program (https://watch.eventive.org/…/play/613030d582b0ef0030a7f845).
