Yet ANOTHER anniversary I am celebrating this year! This time it’s five years of Still Drunk Sundays!
July 31, 2011 (I know we’re celebrating a week late) Paul White and I started a weekly Bingo game at a little place called The Bus Stop. For almost two years we played every Sunday, with too much alcohol, lots of new friends the occasional fill-ins (Kieran Archer and Amber Marie). I was hired to host Bingo at other places, it never worked. In April 2013, The Bus Stop closed and we took a hiatus. It started back up again in Fall 2013, this time as a monthly with a co-host (Misty Rose) and a new location (The Hillside Bar). Spring of 2014, the location changed again to Chop Suey, with Nicki Boedigheimer getting us drunk and we added a monthly theme (complete with looks, movies and soundtracks to match). That location worked for a bit, til we ended up at The Crescent Lounge in February 2015, where we still reside to this day. Jacob Bevan, Inger Adair, Corwen L Baker and Terry have been your bartenders. (And Marc Anderson as your karoke host/ all around Bingo friend)
Now, after five years, all the birthday and Holiday bingos, so much black out money won, a few fundraisers, it’s time to celebrate!
The theme is BINGO! We’re turning Crescent into a Bingo hall, so pull out your best Florida granny looks. We’re gonna have snacks and some good prizes and for the nostalgia, Spice Girls Pandora, Hot Pockets and beer & shot drink specials.
