Seattle’s Monthly Celebration of Pop, Camp, Gay, Underground and Trash Culture of the 60’s & 70’s and BEYOND! returns in September for a show that is a bit of a SAILORS PART II – SAMUEL STEWARD!
Samuel Steward, also known as Phil Sparrow, Phil Andros and many other names, was a professor, a novelist, a tattoo artist (who went from tattooing sailors in Chicago to becoming the official tattoo artist of the Hells Angels), a poet, a sex historian and a pornographer.
Join us for an evening of stories, laughs, art and more as we celebrate the Man of Many Names. Our Fabulous Special Guests for the evening will be writer David May (“A Nice Boy from a Good Family: Diaries, Essays, Memoirs, & Mostly True Stories about Love, Lust, Life & Death” & “Butch Bottom and the Absent Daddy”) and the Glorious Phoenix that is Dixie Cox.
