The Goodwill Design Challenge
September 23, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Are you a DIY fashionista? Love the runway look, but don’t love the runway price tag? Love thrifting your clothes—and then making them your own? If that’s you, join us for our annual Goodwill Design Challenge and sign up for our No-Sew Refashion Contest!
Student fashion designers from a number of local college design programs will display their upcycled fashions and compete for prizes. In addition to watching the show, the audience can pre-register to compete in the No-Sew Refashion Contest for a chance to win prizes.
DESIGN CHALLENGE:
In past years, the Design Challenge has been part of the Glitter Gala Fashion Show. By popular demand, in 2016, it’ll be its own judged runway event, with the top ranking designers going onto display their work on the Glitter Gala runway.
NO-SEW REFASHION CONTEST:
Not a student, but want to participate? When you buy your tickets, sign yourself and your model up for the No-Sew Refashion Contest. Entrants will get half an hour before the Design Challenge runway show to create their own upcycled fashion using office supplies and raw materials provided by Goodwill.
