About the Show
Wild & Precious is a story of change for the BETTER! Steve Cadwell is a psychotherapist and he’s been listening to people’s stories for 35 years to good healing effect. This is his story about what it means to be a man in our one wild and precious life — one man’s version of OUR Social Change History: Gay Liberation celebrated in original song, story, poetry, costume, photos.
Steve Cadwell, Ph.D., has written and taught on issues of gender, sexuality and shame at BUSSW and Harvard. In this performance piece, he pushes the Case Study Method OUT. The Doctor is OUT! Way OUT! He tells his story; 50 years of SOCIAL CHANGE: Gay History. With humor and dramatic power, he tells his story about our universal quest for meaning. The show has been featured for the past two years at theaters, campuses, and Pride Festivals coast to coast: Boston, NYC, Austin, Providence, L.A., San Francisco. See it in Seattle!
Adam McRoberts has lived and worked in the Seattle LGBT community for the past 10 years and is thrilled to be a part of the SGS family. Adam specializes in business branding, marketing and promotion and brings his years of experience to SGS in an effort to create Seattle’s premier LGBT news and infotainment website. Adam lives on Capitol Hill and is active in the Seattle LGBT community, having served on the Board of Directors for Seattle Pride from 2006-2015, among numerous other volunteer projects for the community.
