Join us for an after-hour mixer for our LGBTQ and allied professionals under 40 at the highest room in Seattle with incomparable views over our city and Puget Sound. Continuing our 2016 professional development series, we will be talking about navigating the generation gap, presented by Dee Knapp.

The diverse generations in the workplace today present new challenges and opportunities. Young professionals in particular may find themselves stereotyped by members of other generations in less than complimentary ways. This can lead to uncomfortable situations at best and outright conflict at worst.

In this interactive workshop we will learn about strategies for overcoming common negative stereotypes, discuss communication tools to resolve conflicts across generations in the workplace, and discuss workplace policies important to young professionals.
