Thank you Seattle for making our Anniversary Party at Lobby Bar so amazing!

Sylvia and Jinkx are the tasty bread in a delicious Alex Berry sandwich at the SGS 4th Anniversary Party at Lobby Bar on Thursday, July 14.

We really felt your love on Thursday night as HUNDREDS of you came to celebrate Seattle Gay Scene’s 4th Anniversary at Lobby Bar. Yes, hundreds. We had about 150 gift bags and ran out of them by 10pm and people kept pouring in to share some love, check out the amazing performances from Sylvia O’Stayformore and Jinkx Monsoon, groove to the music by DJ George Delmar and DJ Skiddle and to take advantage of our awesome photo booth. That, and enjoy some delicious Pop Chips, check out the goodies in our gift bags, and make a play to win our raffled gift baskets furnished by Babeland, Gay City, EMP, SIFF, and Three Dollar Bill Cinema. So, a huge thank you to everyone who came by, and another one to our performers, and another one to our sponsors and a big fat one to Curtis, Paul and the entire staff at Lobby Bar for making it a great evening, we’ll never forget.

Also, a huge debt of thanks to everyone who put it together: the amazing Denise, Rush and Danielle working the photo booth/front and providing so much help with the marketing; the video talents of Alex Berry and interviewer Brian Peterson; the charming presence of our favorite Furry, Chris Diani; the sage advice from Rich and Rob and everyone who helped pitch in.

AND, don’t forget our TWO huge monster events this Friday, July 22…the big “The Good Time Summer Funtastic Variety Show” at Re-bar with the talents of Jinkx Monsoon, Anna Rexia, Mark “Mom” Finley, Cherry Sur Bete, OtterPop! and many more, hosted by Mr. Strangeways and with the talents of DJ Tony Burns. AND, if you’re more of a disco dance party animal, check out “DaddyShack Disco” co-presented with Two Knights Events at The Baltic Room and starring DJ George Delmar and DJ Disco Vinnie. Expect lots of classic disco plus a smattering of more recent hits plus plenty of cut off shorts, gold chains, chest hair and tubs of Crisco to populate “L.A. Tool & Dye, Part II”!! It will be HAWT! (hopefully the weather will be, too…) TWO separate events on the SAME night! Crazy…
