Well, of course not…some of y’all are happily settled with your husbears in West Seattle. The rest of us single Sally’s are looking for love…or at least some new friends and you can accomplish that goal at the next “Meet Market” the speed dating party put on by the lovely folks at Gay City (and us…we’re helping out.) It all happens NEXT Thursday, October 6 at Lobby Bar from 7pm to 9pm with the lovely Sylvia O’Stayformore as hostess.
But, you do need to pre-register at Gay City’s website…go here to do so. AND, the event IS a fundraiser…it’s only $20, which is a great deal. One date usually costs waaaaaay more than $20; here, you go on TWENTY dates for that amount…that’s a BUCK a date!
It’s a lovely way to meet new people…and, each date is only 3 minutes long so you can’t possibly get sick of each other!
Here’s how it works:
- You register online in advance. Your $20 gets you admission to The Meet Market and a chance to meet dozens of Seattle’s most eligible bachelors. We do the planning – you just show up and have fun.
- You attend the event at The Lobby Bar on Oct 6. We’ll start off with some mingle time, and then Gay City’s facilitators will coordinate your dates. We even have a few ideas to help you break the ice.
- During The Meet Market, you keep track of who you would like to get to know better. After the event we tabulate everyone’s results, and if there’s a match, we put you and the other guy in touch with each other. You can meet for a second date, and take it from there!
This is SOOOOOO worth checking out!
DO IT!
