Yet another tradition seems to have established itself in our lives…Santarchy, the annual bar crawl featuring hundreds of drunken revelers dressed up as Santa, or a helper, is happening this coming Saturday, December 17. It’s spread to cities all over the world and seems to be open to all comers, but there have been some gay offshoots as well, including one here in Seattle. The general public has the “official” Santarchy crawl, with two starting points in the Seattle area, one north and one south, but both ending on Capitol Hill. Frankly, we much prefer GAY Santarchy featuring lots of hot men in tiny amounts of red fur, stumbling around the Hill…It starts at 9pm and here’s the schedule:
Gather at CC’s at around 8:30/9:00 for the initial cocktail. Leave CC’s at 9:30 .
Parade down Broadway, then up Pike to the Lobby Bar–Arrive at approx. 9:45.
Leave Lobby approx. 10:15.
Arrive Purr at 10:20; Leave at 10:50.
Proceed up Pike to 14th Avenue and divide into two groups:
Arrive at Madison Pub and Diesel at 11:00; depart 11:20.
Arrive at The Cuff at 11:30. This will be the last stop for some.
OPTIONAL: depart The Cuff at 12:00 and proceed down Pike Street to The Eagle. Arrive at 12:15 – 12:30.REMEMBER:
BRING PHOTO I.D. (you can’t get in the Cuff without it.)
DO NOT presume free admission to any bar.Much of the fun that night will be in the streets between stops. Please behave somewhat respectfully in public.
Ensure you have cab fare or a ride home, in case you get wasted.

We agree, but want to re-empathize the part about having a safe way to get home…and, of course, legally you’re supposed to have valid photo ID to get into ANY place serving alcohol.
