“Fanning the Flames”: A FREE evening of queer animation at NWFF

We love animation and we love QUEER animation and we love FREE so this evening’s screening of animator Clyde Petersen’s “Fanning the Flames” program at Northwest Film Forum seems like a smart bet… It features the work of Mr. Petersen plus Britta Johnson, Stefan Gruber, Tess Martin, Salise Hughes, Otto Bulut, Eric Ostrowski, and Webster Crowell; it’s only 40 minutes long and it looks kind of awesome. It starts at 5pm with a reception afterward at Zeitgeist Coffee down in Pioneer Square. Here’s some more info from the Facebook invite:

Join Clyde Petersen and members of the Seattle Experimental Animation Team for an hour of Northwest Animations!
This is the premier for a series if short films called Fanning the Flames, exploring transgender identity and queer sexuality.

Other short films from SEAT members will accompany this screening. You will love them!

This is not an all-ages event. There will be adult content.
But this a FREE event.

Join us for the after screening mega-party at Zeitgeist in Pioneer Square for March Art Walk. SEAT will be presenting “ReAnimated: An Exquisite Corpse Evening” That beings at 8pm and is FREE.

Recommended for 18+ and it’s at Northwest Film Forum, 1515 12th Ave on Capitol Hill.
