Some beloved pop/rock bands with huge queer followings AND queer members have new music coming out today…AND, both bands have a Northwest connection. Beth Ditto and Gossip are well known to the Pacific NW and especially to Portland, OR and Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters, was at one time, a Capitol Hill twink and barista.
Here’s the new video, “Perfect World” from Gossip. Their new album, “A Joyful Noise” debuts on May 22, 2012.
And, Scissor Sisters just released THIS video, which is just the song with lyrics on screen, yesterday in London. The song is “Only the Horses” and it’s available for download on April 15, 2012. Their new album, “Magic Hour” will debut on May 28.
Can tours be far behind? Fall maybe? They should tour TOGETHER!
